Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Oxford, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thu 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and assist with access control processes for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries. Support emergency preparedness efforts by following post orders, communicating clearly during hazardous material‑related or facility incidents, and helping coordinate orderly response actions with site personnel and first responders. Minimum Requirements CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
