Finance Intern

We're looking for a part-time Finance Intern to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Glen Allen, VA. This role provides support to the Mason & Hanger Finance team. The Finance Intern will be tasked with completing analyses and reporting pertaining to our business operations.

Here's the work you'll do:

• Provide support in forecasting and period close responsibilities including, but not limited to, report preparation and revenue/cost analysis
• Trend data for reporting and analysis
• Work with the team to identify proof of concepts / prototypes for AI use cases within the Finance organization
• Identify and reconcile discrepancies in the financial reporting of Power BI dashboards
• Ad hoc financial analysis and projects

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to obtain information for diagnosing problems quickly and effectively
• Self-motivated individual who takes both initiative and accepts responsibility for actions (i.e. thinking and going beyond the current assigned tasks)

• Current enrollment in a college or university
• Great attitude and team player
• Successful completion of background and drug screening process

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $16.00- $ 21.00 an hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
