Bring your expertise in special education to a dynamic K-12 setting as part of a dedicated group supporting students’ growth and success. This contract position offers you the opportunity to use your skills in a supportive environment—onsite or virtually—tailoring instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Current PEL (Professional Educator License) in hand
• Valid LBS 1 certification
• Previous experience or strong interest in K-12 special education environments
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
• Willingness to work either virtually or onsite

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized and small group instruction to students in a K-12 setting
• Creating, reviewing, and revising IEPs according to student needs and progress
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitoring and documenting student progress, and adjusting instructional strategies as necessary
• Upholding compliance with all state and federal special education guidelines
• Participating in professional learning communities and meetings as required

This is a 35-hour-per-week contract role, with flexibility to work remotely for the right candidate. Your contribution will ensure that every student receives the specialized support they deserve, all while benefiting from a collaborative environment.
