Converting Machine Operator

Major Function Responsible to operate converting bag machines in a safe manner and produce quality product with minimal scrap, meet production schedules and keep work area clean. Primary Duties Perform timely and thorough quality checks throughout the shift and record them on your shift report. Packer/Inspectors are required to perform quality checks every ½ hour. Perform any light maintenance that is needed on machine and communicate major issues to supervisor/lead person. Run and catch on a machine or run 2‑3 machines with help of an assistant.
