Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown Unit

This is a 12-hour night shift position, requiring weekend work as scheduled.

The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality care to patients in a Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown unit, focusing on a variety of cardiac conditions and post-surgical recovery. The RN will be responsible for continuous monitoring, administering medication, and supporting patient recovery while providing compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to a patient population with cardiac conditions, including post-operative care.
• Monitor vital signs and perform patient assessments to detect changes in health status.
• Titrate various medications and drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in a high-acuity telemetry or stepdown unit preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle critical situations.
