Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Kilmarnock, VA, working in an outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Our outpatient program is unique and not your typical outpatient or home health setting. Therapists typically work one-on-one with about eight residents per day rather than administering group or multiple concurrent treatments. This personalized approach allows therapists to make a meaningful impact and creates a rewarding experience for traveling clinicians.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient therapy or similar one-on-one treatment environments preferred.
• Ability to provide individualized care and manage a caseload of approximately eight patients per day.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in skilled nursing, subacute, or specialized outpatient programs preferred.
• Experience with geriatric populations or long-term care residents preferred.

• 100% outpatient setting.
• Therapists typically treat about eight residents per day with one-on-one care.
