Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Sonographer will perform advanced echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac studies, specializing in pediatric imaging. The role requires proficiency in cardiac ultrasound techniques, with independent work capability and experience in fetal echocardiography.

Responsibilities:

Conduct pediatric echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and cardiac diagnostics with precision and expertise.
Perform and analyze ultrasound imaging to assist in diagnostic assessments.
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely results.
Maintain equipment, ensure patient safety, and adhere to best practices in imaging procedures.
Provide on-call coverage during winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, as needed.
Comply with travel and licensing requirements, including active NJ or Compact licenses and background checks.

Qualifications:

Possess a minimum of one year of clinical sonography experience, specifically in pediatric and fetal echocardiography.
Hold a valid NJ or Compact license for nursing or ultrasound certification.
Be proficient with fetal echocardiography and pediatric ultrasound techniques.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Maintain current BLS certification, with ARDMS, RDCS, FE, or CCI RCCS credentials preferred.
Have experience working with echocardiogram equipment and related modules.
