We offer a flexible opportunity for clinicians who value professional independence and want to determine their own schedules while providing meaningful mental health services.

Position Overview

Independent Contractor – Mental Health Clinician (1099)

Renari Counseling is seeking compassionate, dedicated clinicians to provide outpatient mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. Services may include individual, couples, and family counseling.

As an independent contractor, you maintain autonomy over your practice, including your schedule, availability, and workload. Renari Counseling provides administrative and billing support to help facilitate your clinical work while you focus on serving your clients.

Location & Service Delivery

A hybrid schedule is preferred , combining in-person appointments with telehealth services.

Compensation & Administrative Support

• Competitive compensation: Pay is based on licensure and years of professional experience.
• 1099 independent contractor status: This is a contract position, not a W-2 employee position.
• Administrative support: Access support with billing, payment processing, and related administrative tasks.
• Practice flexibility: Focus on clinical care while Renari Counseling assists with designated business support functions.

Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, professional obligations, and applicable business expenses, as outlined in their independent contractor agreement.

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Hold a bachelor's degree and appropriate Ohio licensure as an LSW, or a master's degree in a behavioral health-related field and appropriate Ohio licensure as an LPC, LISW, or LPCC.
• Meet all applicable State of Ohio licensing requirements for the clinical services provided.
• Demonstrate strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Be committed to providing ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with applicable professional standards and requirements.
