Regional Sales Consultant - South Central Territory

Position Overview The successful candidate must possess the skills to discuss and present Meeder’s investment solutions to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and Registered Representatives. Utilizing a consultative approach, the candidate must effectively provide investment solutions across Mutual Funds, Managed Account Solutions, and SMAs. The South Central territory includes Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The ideal candidate will be located in Texas. Description The successful candidate must possess the skills to discuss and present Meeder’s investment solutions to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and Registered Representatives. Utilizing a consultative approach, the candidate must effectively provide investment solutions across Mutual Funds, Managed Account Solutions, and SMAs. The South Central territory includes Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The ideal candidate will be located in Texas. Primary Responsibilities Develop and manage a focused data-driven distribution plan which expands existing intermediary relationships, identifies new business opportunities and generates new business leads. Serve as a subject matter expert in all Meeder’s investment solutions and services. Successfully implement the company's consultative sales process. Develop and execute territory sales plans; leverage resources to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and activity targets. Build and maintain strong advisor relationships to achieve asset retention goals. Demonstrate knowledge of Independent RIAs and Broker Dealers proprietary platforms and competition. Present at client seminars and training sessions; attend industry conferences as assigned. Demonstrate effective territory management, including efficient scheduling, use of technology, appropriate CRM completion and adherence to travel and expense budgets. Leverage and adhere to Marketing campaigns, tools and engagement strategies. Critical Success Factors Have conviction and passion for the firm’s investment solutions and services. Demonstrate leadership qualities, ambition, and be a self‑motivated team player. Ability to recognize opportunities and provide outstanding follow‑up and service. Strong and persuasive presentation and communication skills. Solid understanding of capital markets and how to effectively translate this knowledge into discussions with advisors. Strong listening and probing skills to identify opportunities and provide solutions. Good organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet specific production objectives. Position Requirements Req Number BUS-26-00004 Skills Required 5+ years of experience as a successful External wholesaler in the investment services industry. Bachelor’s Degree. FINRA Series 6 or 7 licensed, 63 and 65 required. CIMA, CFP, CPWA, BFA or CFA one or more are preferred. Proficient in CRM, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software programs, as well as Morningstar and/or Zephyr.
