Health Safety Environment Supervisor

HSE Supervisor (Health, Safety & Environmental Supervisor) yThe HSE Supervisor is responsible for leading and ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements within the organizations manufacturing operations. This position ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental regulations applicable in Texas, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and company policies. The role focuses on preventing incidents, managing environmental impacts, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all plant operations Key Responsibiliti esHSE Management & Complian Develop, implement, and maintain the Annual HSE Program in alignment with OSHA requirements, environmental regulations, ISO standards, and corporate policie Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HSE regulations applicable to manufacturing operations in Texa Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of preventive and corrective control Maintain HSE procedures, policies, work instructions, risk matrices, and related documentatio Support and participate in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 internal and external audit Safety Manageme Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and observations to ensure compliance with safety requirement Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, identifying root causes and corrective action Manage OSHA recordkeeping requirements, including OSHA 300 Logs and incident reportin Develop and maintain Emergency Response Plans, including fire, spill, evacuation, and medical emergency procedure Coordinate contractor safety compliance program Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirement Manage waste generation, storage, transportation, recycling, and disposal processe Monitor environmental programs related to air emissions, stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste, and chemical managemen Coordinate environmental reporting and regulatory submissions as require Support sustainability and environmental improvement initiative Training & Safety Cultu Deliver HSE orientation and training programs for employees and contractor Promote safety awareness campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and behavioral safety activitie Support leadership in developing a proactive safety culture throughout the organizatio Required Qualificati Education: Bachelor's Degree in: Environmental Engineering , Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health , Environmental Sciences , Or related technical discipli Minimum 3 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environmental roles within: Manufacturing, Metal processing , Foundry operations, Industrial production environme Experience managing OSHA compliance progra Experience supporting environmental compliance programs and permi Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessmen Certifications & Traini Preferred: OSHA 30-Hour General Industry , ISO 14001 Internal Auditor , ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, First Aid / CPR Certificat Technical Knowl edgeSafety Regulations Strong knowledge of: OSHA 29 CFR 1910, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hazard Communication (HazCom) , Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) , Confined Space Entry, Occupational Noise Control, OSHA Recordkeeping (300 Logs) , Emergency Action Plans , Hot Work Requirements , Contractor Safety Programs , DOT Hazardous Materials Regulat Environmental Regulations: Knowledge of: Clean Air Act (CAA) , Clean Water Act (CWA) , Air Permits , TPDES Permits , SWPPP Programs , Industrial Stormwater Compliance , Hazardous Waste Regulations (RCRA) , EPCRA Reporting , SPCC Plans , Wastewater Discharge Requirements , Chemical Storage Regulations , Environmental Emergency Planning Management Systems ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems , ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Sys tems Language Require English: Advanced / FluentPreferred Qualifica Preferred Qualifica tions Experience in copper, metals, wire & cable, extrusion, foundry, or heavy manufacturing indust Experience working in startup manufacturing operat Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S methodolo Familiarity with Ishikawa, 5 Why's, and Root Cause Analysis methodolo Knowledge of CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) programs is a plus.
