Assistant Manager - Express Car Wash Operations

Waves Express Car Wash is seeking a high energy and results driven Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations at one of our Upstate locations. This is a hands on leadership role for someone who leads from the front, takes ownership of results, and thrives in a fast paced environment. This is not a desk job and not an entry level position. The right candidate is driven, accountable, and motivated to grow into a Site Manager role. Job Summary As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting site performance, developing team members, and ensuring a high level of customer experience. You will work side by side with your team each day, setting the standard for effort, attitude, and execution. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop frontline team members to deliver consistent high quality service Take ownership of the customer experience by resolving issues quickly and professionally Drive revenue through strong execution of wash package and membership sales Support site financial performance including labor management and inventory control Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operation including tunnel, vacuums, equipment, and chemicals Open and close the site while ensuring procedures and cash handling are executed accurately Load vehicles safely and efficiently into the wash tunnel Hold team members accountable to performance standards and expectations Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Uphold company standards policies and culture at all times Requirements Self motivated leader who takes initiative and ownership Comfortable being accountable for performance and results Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and develop others High level of energy and work ethic in a fast paced environment Willingness to work flexible schedules including rotating weekends Ability to travel between Upstate locations as needed Previous car wash management or leadership experience preferred Candidates without direct experience may be considered for Manager-in-Training Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary with monthly performance based bonus program Healthcare stipend Paid vacation and sick time Free car washes Growth Opportunity Waves Express Car Wash promotes from within and rewards performance.
