Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and ensuring accurate, up-to-date medical records.Observe and communicate abnormal patient symptoms to physicians, documenting findings thoroughly in electronic medical records.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.Ensure patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and provide educational materials to support treatment and medication adherence.Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.This position offers a supportive work environment within a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest, emphasizing patient-centered care and professional growth.
