IT Support Specialist I

: Job Summary IT Support Specialist I, daily tasks include: device vulnerability remediation, documentation, equipment setup and troubleshooting, software deployment and patching, facilities installation of technology equipment. Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field with 1 year of related experience, OR Associate's Degree in Information Systems or related field with 2 years of related experience, OR 4 years of related experience, OR any equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Preferred Education and Experience Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support for academic lab environments, Faculty, and staff computing equipment within the school of Arts, Humanities, and Technology. Assist with academic lab maintenance and operations. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and handle warranty interaction with vendors for computer equipment. Facilitate repairs and maintenance of assets. Assist with property asset management and inventory procedures. Provide desktop support and other IT related services, including AV support. Physical Activities Working Conditions Additional Information Internal candidates will be given preference. A remote work schedule is not available for this position.
