As a Warehouse Colleague, you will perform the essential processes for online order fulfillment for Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s customers! What You Will Do Receiving and Unloading: Receive, prepare, put away, pick, sort, pack, and ship merchandise safely, productively, and accurately. Technology: Key accurately and productively using PCs, hand‑held computers, radio frequency equipment, and other devices; learn area‑specific functions within multiple systems. Equipment: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as needed. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals, maintain a positive work environment, communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and leaders, and read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English. Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections. Who You Are No education or experience required. Must be able to: Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors. Read, understand and interpret employment policies, instructional documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English. Self‑starter who adapts quickly to changing customer expectations and needs. Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology. Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays with dependable attendance and punctuality. Essential Physical Requirements Prolonged walking and standing up to the duration of scheduled shift (excluding breaks). Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment. Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision; lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Ability to hear and see safety/emergency alarms and Power Industrial Truck warning devices to ensure safety while on warehouse floor.
