Warehouse Associate, Portland Weekend Shift/Pocket Pack - Flex

Job Overview As a Warehouse Colleague you will be a critical part of our Supply Chain team where we drive success across the Supply Chain organization using a Four Pillars Strategy. You will support processes online order fulfillment for Macy's and Bloomingdale's customers and work full‑time or part‑time depending on business needs. What You Will Do Receiving and Unloading: receive, prepare, put away, pick, sort, pack and ship merchandise safely, productively and accurately. Technology: use PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment or other devices accurately and productively, learning area‑specific functions within multiple systems. Equipment: operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other equipment as needed. Team Collaboration: work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals, maintain a positive work environment, communicate effectively with customers and People Leaders, and understand workplace policies and safety rules in English. Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities. Who You Are No education or experience required. Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors. Read, understand and interpret employment policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals in English. Self‑starter who adapts quickly to changing customer expectations and needs. Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology. Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Prolonged walking and standing up to the duration of the scheduled shift (excluding breaks). Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment. Ability to reach, including above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop and maintain color vision. Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. Close vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
