New Business Development Promotion Planner Manager/ Senior Manager Japanese/English Bilingual New Business Development Promotion Planner Manager / Senior Manager Summary Our client, a growing multi-entertainment company, is hiring a New Business Development Promotion Planner Manager / Senior Manager due to continued expansion. This is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of new business initiatives, promotional programs, licensed partnerships, and revenue-generating projects across the company. We are looking for a hands‑on leader who can track complex timelines, manage budgets, negotiate with vendors and licensors, and seamlessly bridge communication between internal departments and external partners in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead Initiative Execution: Support and oversee multiple concurrent new business initiatives, tracking project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies. Merchandise Selection & Procurement: Identify, source, and evaluate high‑quality promotional products that fit brand image, campaign themes, and target audience preferences. Vendor & Licensor Negotiations: Negotiate costs, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors and Japanese/global licensors to maximize profit margins. Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary liaison, collaborating with Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and store teams to sync promotional calendars. Pop-Culture Integration: Incorporate culturally relevant and trending anime, mobile, PC, and console gaming properties into product offerings. Budgeting & Performance Analysis: Track sales performance, monitor ROI on promotional items, manage purchase orders/invoices, and generate detailed sales reports for internal stakeholders and external licensors.
