HVAC Controls Systems Technician Team Leader

We are looking for a seasoned HVAC field operations leader to manage a team of technicians, drive profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day activities of field technician team and plan monthly technician routes. Analyze team performance and recommend changes to ensure profitability, safety, and client satisfaction. Maintain customer satisfaction while balancing financial goals. Ensure safety compliance. Lead and provide leadership for assigned teams, ensuring developmental plans are in place. Lead execution efforts of assigned business, ensuring consistency of delivery systems and supervising business plans. Proactively coordinate team’s work with sales to support all opportunities and optimize customer outcomes. Raise potential market opportunities to the appropriate branch or region resource for strategic direction. Ensure serviced account portfolios achieve growth, proper profit levels, and customer satisfaction. Recommend and support staffing requirements for the assigned business. Implement plans to comply with and monitor standards for HVAC operations, auditing effectiveness and driving improvements through accountability and collaboration. Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and customer satisfaction is achieved. Drive service and installation operational review meetings, ensuring accuracy in bids and estimates. Analyze operations processes, provide innovative recommendations for improvements, and foster a culture of continuous learning and problem‑solving. Recruit, hire, and retain operational staff, preparing and delivering performance expectations, reviews, and development plans. Perform other duties related to customer satisfaction, deploying pivotal initiatives to teams, and maintaining team business plans. Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of progressive operational experience in HVAC services. Three (3) years of experience in a management role with responsibility for the productivity and development of others. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent working experience. Johnson Controls Metasys experience. Eight (8) years’ experience in an operational HVAC role with leadership responsibilities. Six Sigma Green Belt.
