Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced registered nurses and OR technicians for a dynamic surgical unit. The role involves supporting a high-volume operating room with diverse cases across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, neuro, vascular, pediatrics, and trauma.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Scrub in on a variety of cases, including general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics, neuro spine, trauma, and vascular surgeries.
• Pass and handle robotic arms and equipment, ensuring safety and precision.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including circulating nurses and anesthesiologists, to deliver efficient and quality care.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and professional standards throughout procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately in EMR system and ensure compliance with OR protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN or OR tech license with current BLS and ACLS certifications, PALS preferred for RNs.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the operating room or surgical specialty, with previous travel assignments preferred.
• Experience with robotic systems such as Davinci, Rosa, and passing arms required.
• Proven ability to work night/evening shifts, including call and floating requirements.
• Strong knowledge of diverse surgical cases, including neuro, ortho, vascular, pediatric, and trauma.
