Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Product Costing and Controlling to support SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, implementation, and support of Product Costing and Controlling processes while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams, including FI, CO, MM, PP, SD, and CO-PA.

This role involves participation in SAP implementations, rollouts, ECC to S/4HANA conversions, data migration, AMS support, and production support activities. 

Required Skills:
8+ years of SAP FICO experience with strong expertise in Product Costing and Controlling.
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

Product Costing (CO-PC)
Material Ledger (ML)
Actual Costing
Cost Object Controlling
Standard Costing
CO-PA
Period-End Closing
Experience in integrating SAP FICO with MM, PP, SD, and FI modules.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversion, migration, or transformation projects.
Knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Embedded Analytics, and Material Ledger enhancements.
Experience supporting implementations, rollouts, AMS, Hypercare, and production support.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments is preferred.

Product Costing & Controlling
Configure and support SAP Product Costing components, including:
Cost Component Structure
Costing Variants (Standard Costing and Preliminary Costing)
Costing Versions
Valuation Variants
Perform Material Cost Estimates using:
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Routings
Production Versions
Execute Standard Cost Calculation, Cost Release, and Cost Marking.
Manage cost roll-ups from raw materials through finished goods.
Configure and support Cost Object Controlling, including:
Product Cost by Order
Product Cost by Period (SAP S/4HANA)
Actual Costing & Period-End Closing

Configure and execute Material Ledger and Actual Costing.
Support multiple valuation approaches and price determination (single-level and multi-level).
Perform period-end closing activities, including:
Work-in-Progress (WIP)
Variance Calculation
Settlement to FI and CO-PA
Analyze production variances, including input, output, price, and lot-size variances.
Cross-Functional Integration

Ensure seamless integration with:
SAP MM (Material Management)
SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
Support both Costing-Based and Account-Based CO-PA.
Collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.

SAP S/4HANA Transformation
Participate in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and conversion projects.
Support Product Costing simplification items.
Work with S/4HANA-specific functionality, including:
Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
Material Ledger enhancements
Actual Costing enhancements
Support data migration, reconciliation, cutover planning, and go-live activities.

Reporting & Analysis
Develop and support SAP Standard Reports and Embedded Analytics.
Perform cost analysis, profitability analysis, and margin reporting.
Provide cost breakdowns and variance analysis to business stakeholders and management.

Governance & Support
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
Support Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation.
Provide AMS, Hypercare, and post-go-live production support.
Develop process documentation, SOPs, knowledge transfer documents, and user guides.
