Cost Management Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, financial analysis, and strategic cost optimization. This individual will play a key role in analyzing global cost structures, developing cost management strategies, and supporting budgeting and resource allocation to ensure effective cost control measures across departments. The position requires experience in a multinational environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and Execute Cost Management Strategies: Design and implement cost management strategies to optimize costs and meet organizational profit goals. Analyze Global Cost Structures: Assess global cost structures and develop plans for cost optimization, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track KPIs to ensure cost control measures are effective, taking corrective actions when necessary. Product Cost Analysis and Variance Assessment: Conduct detailed product cost analyses and assess cost variances to identify areas for improvement and cost‑saving opportunities. Support Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Assist in the development and management of budgets, and provide support for resource allocation and cross‑departmental decision‑making. Collaborate with Global Teams: Work closely with global teams to ensure that cost control processes are consistent and compliant with corporate standards and regulations. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting , Finance , or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost management or a related field, preferably in a multinational environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial tools such as Excel , SAP , or Tableau ; experience with ERP systems is preferred. Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a plus. Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing or similar industries is highly desirable. Bilingual Requirement: Must be fluent in Spanish and English or Spanish and Chinese. Key Skills Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional and global teams. In‑depth knowledge of cost management practices, financial reporting, and cost optimization strategies. Location This position is available in Houston, TX and San Jose, CA.
