This role involves direct interaction with third party consultants, internal business partners, senior management, and external auditors, and plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial statements.**Responsibilities*** Transition the accounting for accounts receivable and related reserves from third party consultants to inhouse resources.* Lead annual review of loss rates to update current expected credit loss model.* Develop and maintain accounting policy on current expected credit losses reserve.* Utilize Alteryx and AI enabled tools to drive efficiencies in processes and reporting.* Support forecasting of the provision for credit losses.* Partners with third party consultants to support remediation of internal control weaknesses.* Lead execution and documentation of internal controls ensuring Sarbanes Oxley requirements are met.* Assist in drafting financial statement disclosures in compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements.* Collaborate with internal or external auditors to ensure technical accounting documentation is in place and meets the needs of the audit process.* Drives continuous improvement and best practices.* Lead and mentor a team of four direct reports.Compensation for this job is subject to market conditions, geographic considerations, the candidate’s unique skills and experience, state and local laws, and budget.
