Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students to identify needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves students with a range of mental health challenges, including those with ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD. The focus is on providing culturally responsive and individualized care that caters to each student's unique needs, fostering an atmosphere where they feel safe and supported.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or possess a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related area is preferred.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and general computer skills are necessary for documentation purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a counseling capacity is preferred. Prior experience working within educational settings or with special populations is highly valued. Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and crisis intervention strategies will greatly enhance effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
