Bus Fueler/Cleaner - Non CDL

Overview Utility Worker – Bus Fueler/Cleaner in Olathe, Kansas. The employee is expected to perform basic vehicle servicing duties with a focus on safety and customer service. Schedule Monday through Friday: 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM. Shift assignment may vary based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles Fuel buses, replenish fluids, and log/record all fluids Download drive cameras & probes and fare boxes Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities Report maintenance issues to supervisor Other duties as required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver\'s license for a minimum of 3 years Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason Physical Requirements Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside, including work alone and in remote locations Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery surfaces Push/pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs; bend, kneel, or crouch to access equipment Withstand exposure to heavy traffic, dust, vehicle fumes, and noise Benefits Vacation: 1 week after 1 year Sick days: 5 days per year Holidays: 12 days (8 standard and 4 floating) Other standard benefits: 401(k), medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and voluntary long-term disability Additional Information Benefits may vary by location policy.
