Job Position: Food Service Aides Part time and Subs
Location: Norristown Area School District.
Pay Rate: $16.75/hr
Shift: M-F On- Call , 4 - 6 hour shifts.
Position Summary:
SOS Group is seeking reliable and compassionate Substitute Food Service/Dietary Aides to join our team on an as-needed basis. In this role, you will assist in preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring the dietary needs of our residents or clients are met. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in food service within a supportive, community-focused setting. State and Federal background checks required.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning.
Serve meals and beverages following dietary and portion guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
Help with dishwashing and storage of supplies.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Follow dietary restrictions and preferences for residents or clients as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in food service or dietary roles is a plus.
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Availability for on-call shifts and a flexible schedule.
