A well-established community health center pharmacy in Orange Cove, CA, is urgently seeking a full-time pharmacist to provide immediate coverage. This contract position offers a focused role within a supportive environment equipped with experienced pharmacy technicians and utilizing the Rx30 system.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
This role requires a pharmacist with recent retail or community pharmacy experience who can seamlessly manage daily pharmacy operations while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and medication safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately following prescriptions and legal guidelines
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage inventory and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Utilize the Rx30 system for processing and record-keeping
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries effectively
Desired Experience:
- Recent experience in retail or community pharmacy settings
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software (Rx30 preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills

This is a contract position starting immediately, with an initial duration of four weeks and a strong possibility of extension.
