Coordinate with the Lab Operations Manager for maintenance planning, scheduling and vendor/lab operations team communication. Coordinate equipment moves of lab equipment and assets. Actively monitor all lab tasks/work orders ensuring proper assignment and routine updating/completion.Job OverviewThe Lab Operations Coordinator will provide routine support to lab operations management team and technicians. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: task/work order hygiene audits/alterations, ensuring correct access and vendor escorting provisions, support consumables inventory management/ordering, vendor communication, vendor badging and tool/PPE checklist management/ordering, equipment coordination, equipment maintenance procedure generation.Job FunctionsSupport management needs for all lab maintenance and operations in assigned propertiesRoutinely communicate with vendors/lab operations staff to ensure alignment and avoid issues/missesCoordinate equipment move requestsAssist management with the generation of equipment maintenance proceduresGeneration of automation tooling and software packages to drive team efficiencyAudit tasks/work orders to validate proper hygiene and commentaryAssist with vendor coordination, scheduling and access provisionsManage vendor badging processMaintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with vendors, lab operations team and usersProvide prompt and courteous response to requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL/MetaAssist in the establishment, implementation, and maintenance set forth by Meta, JLL, and the lab management teamsAdhere to all Meta, JLL, and building property management policies and procedures, perform all duties in a safe manner, and help ensure compliance with city, state and federal safety and environmental laws, codes, standards and regulationsActively participate in required training activities and seminarsCollaborate in the utilization of inventory control programs with appropriate parts/consumables stocking levels with accurate and timely records of receipts and issuesAssist lab operations staff with ordering correct equipment, tools, and PPE as appropriate for assigned tasksAfter hours availability for Lab Operations emergenciesEnsure the documentation and electronic file systems are in accordance with the standard practice of MetaRecognize opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising customer satisfaction and prepare recommendationsUtilize computer equipment to compose routine correspondence, handle high volume of electronic mail, spreadsheets, and report generation with a high level of professionalismAssume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Lab Operations Manager in alignment with Meta and JLL operationsExperience Requirements2+ years in relatable fieldsExperience with lab systems, tooling and consumables management (recommended)Strong initiative, customer service orientated, and ability to function as part of a complex teamVendor management and administration experience requiredWorked within lab and cleanroom environments (recommended)Experience working within high stress and demanding environmentsJob/Skill RequirementsProper response procedures for emergencies, maintains calm demeanor in emergency situations, and effective communication with cross functional teamsMeets highest attendance and punctuality requirementsEfficient prioritization to meet deadlines and Meta's expectationsOperates laptop, smartphones, and other office equipmentInteract with employees, visitors, and vendors with poise and diplomacyApply principles of rational systems and deal with situations where only limited standardization existsPossess initiative to assume additional responsibilitiesCommunicate effectively both verbally and writtenPossess excellent grammar and proofreading abilitiesAbility to function autonomouslyRead and understand a variety of instructions (including written, oral, or schedule forms)Display computer efficiency to adapt to changing requirements within the lab operation programsWorking EnvironmentWork indoors approximately 90% of the time and outdoors approximately 10% of the timeUse olfactory, auditory, and visual sensesMeet the shift working requirements of the assigned property; shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and some holidaysWork overtime and after hours as business needs deem appropriateEmergency response to limit operational downtimeEstimated total compensation for this position: 60,000.00 – 70,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
