Outpatient Therapy Biller

OUTPATIENT THERAPY BILLER – FULL TIME

POST Rehabilitation and Wellness is a dynamic outpatient therapy clinic located in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Outpatient Therapy Biller to capture, bill, and collect outpatient therapy and rehabilitation services across multiple clinics. Responsibilities Ensure coding of billable items and accurate recording of revenue transactions according to outpatient therapy rehabilitation standards. Research clinical documentation and payer information to identify billable items. Provide data to partners accurately reflecting revenue and claims related to therapy billing. Bill using standard revenue, CPT, and HCPC coding following Medicare and state regulatory requirements. Submit Medicare and Med Advantage Part B claims on UB04 and HCFA 1500 forms. Review and complete patient eligibility and authorization verifications. Identify and collect patient responsibility, deductibles, and copays. Respond to calls and emails from clinic operators to provide additional support and information. Communicate Part B billing best practices with peers and staff at assigned locations. Communicate revenue and collectables to facilities, clusters, and markets across multiple locations. Report key performance indicators to partners, including projected revenue, billed amounts, collected amounts, and additional opportunities. Qualifications 1+ year experience with Medicare B billing and eligibility recognition. 1+ year experience with Waystar, NextHealth, Therapy Source, or similar platforms. Experience with billing clearing houses. Knowledge of Rev Springs/Loyal or other POS services is a plus. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and DDE. Point Click Care is a plus. Knowledge of CPT coding procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capability to work with a diverse group of people. Ability to self‑manage in a work environment. In-depth knowledge of Medicare and other state regulatory requirements.
