DayTimeTue04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWed04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a utility location.
- Control access to the location by verifying credentials, processing visitor entries, maintaining entry logs, and communicating with authorized personnel regarding access requests and/or restrictions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support awareness of site conditions.
- Monitor cameras, communication systems, and other access control equipment, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
