Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entry points, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor customer and vendor activity, observe access to restricted or employee‑only areas, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns. Support closing and opening routines, assist with crowd and queue observation during busy periods, and document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports. Minimum Requirements A state, county, and/or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
