Job Description

Experienced Handyman / Home Services Technician

Growing local home-services company is looking for an experienced, dependable handyman to join our team.

We are building a professional home-services operation serving homeowners throughout the Johnstown, Pennsylvania area and surrounding communities.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and can work independently while delivering quality workmanship.

What You'll Do

Our handyman services may include:

• General home repairs and maintenance
• Drywall repair and patching
• Interior and exterior painting
• Minor carpentry
• Door, trim, and molding repairs
• Shelving and fixture installation
• Deck and porch repairs
• Caulking and sealing
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Furniture and item assembly
• Property maintenance
• Punch-list work
• Other general home-improvement projects

You don't need to be an expert at everything. We're looking for someone with a broad skill set, good judgment, and the ability to recognize which projects they can safely and professionally complete.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Several years of handyman, remodeling, maintenance, construction, or home-improvement experience
• A broad range of practical home-repair skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• Basic tools appropriate for the work
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• A dependable work history
• The ability to work independently
• A professional appearance and attitude
• References or examples of previous work

A valid driver's license and clean driving record are preferred.

What We Offer

You focus on the work. We focus on keeping the work coming.

Our company handles the marketing, advertising, customer inquiries, lead generation, scheduling, and other business operations.

That means you won't have to spend your evenings:

• Looking for your next customer
• Paying for advertising
• Answering endless lead calls
• Scheduling every appointment
• Chasing customers for payment

We are building a professional operation designed to provide a consistent flow of work to the right people.

There may also be opportunities for additional responsibility as the business grows.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, and the type of work you are able to perform.

Please include your desired hourly rate or compensation requirement when applying.

If you prefer project-based or production-based compensation rather than hourly pay, please explain your preferred arrangement.

Service Area

Johnstown, Pennsylvania and surrounding communities.

How to Apply

Please respond with:

1. Your years of handyman/home-improvement experience
2. The types of work you are most experienced with
3. Your general service area
4. Whether you have your own tools and reliable transportation
5. Your desired hourly rate or compensation requirement
6. Your availability
7. Two or three references, if available
8. Photos or examples of previous work, if available

We are looking for someone interested in becoming part of a growing home-services operation — not just picking up a few occasional jobs.

If you are dependable, experienced, and take pride in doing quality work, we'd like to hear from you.
