Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) , you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address cognitive, physical, and emotional needs
Conduct occupational therapy sessions with residents, focusing on activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation, and sensory integration
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication
Document resident progress and treatment plans in accordance with organizational guidelines
Adapt to changing situations and priorities, while maintaining high-quality care and services
Requirements:
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTAS)
Current registration with the Nevada Board of Occupational Therapy
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
