Responsibilities: Assist Occupational Therapists in the design and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents to achieve their maximum functional potential Perform occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities, under the supervision of the occupational therapist Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate resident progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries Participate in resident care conferences and case studies to ensure continuity of care Utilize exceptional communication skills to interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members Requirements: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Nevada Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology Work Environment: Per Diem position at Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, Nevada Opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced team of healthcare professionals Collaborative and supportive work environment with a focus on patient-centered care #J-18808-Ljbffr
