Make a meaningful impact this academic year by supporting high school students in a specialized behavior program. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work alongside dedicated paraprofessionals, helping students with Emotional Disabilities (ED) and Other Health Impairments (OHI), such as ADHD, thrive both academically and socially. The school day runs from 7:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 2027.

You’ll be responsible for leading a classroom with a manageable caseload of 11 students. While some students spend their core academic periods in your class, others transition throughout the school day—you’ll collaborate with supportive paraprofessionals who accompany students to general education classes. This role is ideal for educators who thrive as part of a dynamic team and are passionate about providing individualized instruction in an inclusive setting.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working in high school settings, particularly with behavior programs (ED, OHI, ADHD)
• Strong skills in classroom management and individualized instruction
• Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals, general education staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP development, data collection, and progress monitoring
