Our structured provider onboarding program, physician leadership, and modern facilities provide the support you need to build a rewarding long-term career.What You'll DoEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuriesOrder and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, X-rays, and EKGsDevelop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriatePerform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, and other in-office proceduresProvide occupational medicine services, including DOT physicals and Workers' Compensation evaluationsEducate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up careDocument patient encounters accurately using Athena EMRCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered careWhat Makes WesTex DifferentAt WesTex Urgent Care, we invest in our providers as much as we invest in our patients.Our structured provider onboarding program is designed to help every clinician become confident in our workflows, procedures, EMR, occupational medicine services, and patient care philosophy before practicing independently.
