Location: St. Louis County, MO 63119 PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for our prestigious nonprofit client located in St. Louis County, Missouri. This is an opportunity for a seasoned recruiting professional to lead full-cycle recruitment for staff, faculty, adjunct, and other positions while partnering with hiring leaders to develop effective talent strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment from approved requisition through hire for staff, faculty, adjunct, and other assigned positions.
- Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for priority, recurring, and hard-to-fill positions.
- Conduct candidate screenings and develop interview guides and hiring materials to support structured, competency-based selection.
- Consult with hiring managers on position requirements, candidate availability, sourcing strategies, selection practices, and hiring timelines.
- Partner with Academic Affairs and academic leadership to support faculty and adjunct recruitment.
- Maintain the ADP Recruitment Management system and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
- Use recruiting metrics and workforce data to support hiring decisions and identify trends.
- Ensure recruitment practices are consistent, equitable, properly documented, and compliant with university policies and applicable employment laws.
- Support reporting, audits, and process improvements while escalating compliance concerns and higher-risk matters as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in talent acquisition, human resources, talent management, higher education HR, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment and advising hiring leaders on talent strategies.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, HR systems, sourcing tools, candidate assessment, and recruiting metrics.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Experience supporting faculty or adjunct hiring, academic recruitment, or other higher education HR processes is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
