Where no two days are the same..Location: SFO Bay AreaJob Description:We are looking for a motivated Junior AI Engineer to support the development and implementation of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, an understanding of machine learning concepts, and enthusiasm for building production-ready AI applications.Your Role:Develop and test AI/ML and Generative AI solutions under guidance from senior engineers.Build Python-based applications, APIs, and AI integration components.Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.Assist with data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and testing.Integrate AI models/APIs into enterprise applications and workflows.Participate in code reviews, debugging, documentation, and deployment activities.Explore emerging AI technologies and contribute to rapid prototypes/PoCs..Your Skills and Experience:Python and basic SQL proficiency.Fundamentals of Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI.Familiarity with LLMs and frameworks such as LangChain/LlamaIndex is preferred.Exposure to PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks.Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git, cloud platforms, and software engineering practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning abilities.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $48,400 - $95,000/year.Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
