Come grow with us!Job OverviewThe Warehouse Material Handler position supports production by setting up all production lines each morning and supplying products as requested throughout the day. Warehouse workers also make sure items are properly stored, rotated, and counted in the cooler. Places products on pallets correctly (securely and with proper dates) and loads trucks. Maintains cooler in an orderly fashion.Job DutiesOccupational SafetyMust ensure:Personal protective equipment is worn at all timesWorking and common areas are safe; halls and docks are cleanMachinery is operating correctly and vehicles used (electric & manual pallet jack; forklift) are used correctly and safelyFood SafetyMust ensure:Proper hand-washing and dipping is done when working in Production areasSanitation attire is used correctly and storedEquipment is adequately cleaned and sanitizedQualityMust ensure:Products are stored correctly and rotated correctlyOrders are complete and loaded on the appropriate trucksProductivityWarehouse workers will:Load trucksKeep hallways, coolers, the dock, and overall production area cleanKeep product organized and areas orderlyRecharge vehicles each dayCommunicationWarehouse workers must:Follow through on requests from Production members or other employeesCooperate and promote teamworkBenefitsComplete insurance package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance.Several low-cost supplemental plans.401(k) with up to a 4% employer match.Paid holidays and generous paid time off.A variety of bonus opportunities including attendance and referral programs.Numerous employee appreciation events throughout the year.QualificationsRequired QualificationsEducation and ExperienceForklift experiencePallet experienceMust possess basic math skills and the ability to communicate with team membersBe able to work in a wet environment with temperatures as low as 34 degreesPossess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequentlyHave the ability to push/pull a manual pallet jack up to 1200 poundsBe able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of timeHave the ability to crouch, stoop, and twist the upper body repetitivelyWork flexible hours and days including overtime depending on operational demandsBe willing and able to work other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time in cold wet environment; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
