Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

A Medicare & Medicaid certified skilled nursing center, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in Perrysburg, Ohio. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and policy implementation

• Collaborate with the administration team to develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and achieve quality metrics

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, social workers, and other ancillary services

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and data analysis to identify areas for improvement

• Mentor and develop staff to achieve their professional goals and improve patient care

• Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to meet the needs of the facility

Requirements:

• Current and active RN license in the state of Ohio

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a long-term or skilled nursing facility

• Experience in a similar setting is preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
