UI/UX Designer

Limited domestic travel and/or occasional relocation to multiple client locations nationwide to analyze, design, develop, lead application development; lead/coordinate SCRUM meetings/calls, track and resolve development issues. Senior Mobile UI/UX Designer We are currently seeking a senior mobile UI/UX designer to work with our team on the web/mobile application we have under development. The designer will start with a current in-house prototype and carry out a complete design to achieve the most effective and compelling user experience for the particular demographic[s] we are targeting. The initial application is for web & iOS, and the designer will work closely with our product team, and our iOS developers. Create wireframes, storyboards and user flows to communicate design. Present and defend design proposals to marketing, engineering and executives. Propose designs that are innovative. Emphasize directions that are feasible in fast product timeframes. Work with a team using agile approach with biweekly iterations. Carry out user research and usability studies to evaluate the design. Design for a range of mobile devices, initially iOS. Qualifications UI/UX design experience, 3+ years with web and iOS applications. One or more applications successfully launched in the App Store. Experience with design & mockup tools such as Photoshop, Omnigraffle, InDesign, Balsamiq, and InVision. Work closely with UI developer teams to deliver applications. Design and conduct user and usability studies to inform design. Experience with wellness and/or speech recognition apps is a big plus. BI Reporting Specialist Over 8 years of experience in BI Reporting with over 4 years of experience working with QlikView and Qlik Sense. Strong QlikView Application design and development experience, including Loading data from Multiple Data sources, complex Data Model design and high performance UI development. Strong QlikSense technical skills to develop Dashboards and Analytical solutions. Acting as QlikView SME and design dashboard for business users. Develop Qlikview reports to analyze data from multiple data sources like big data, Oracle, SQL Server, Access, Excel, Flat Files, etc. Qlik Sense QMC side experience on creating tasks and triggers. Qlik Sense Architecture and Server knowledge. Exposure to Qlik Sense Mashup, Extension Objects, Java Script/HTML is a big plus. Expert level skill in Dashboard UX design (layouts, integrating maps, color schemes, etc). Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Developer Experience in data analysis with strong SQL Background and need to have strong analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. Ability to facilitate meetings and requirement sessions. Strong SQL skills to assist with data analysis for new IT projects. Experience with data preparation, analysis/mining and visualizing the results. Gathering and documenting application functional requirements. Demonstrate awareness and understanding of business process design techniques. Develop business process flows and process maps. Assist with gap analysis highlighting current state, future state and client needs. Conduct performance and integration testing. Develop application functional specifications for all levels of complexity. Experience with big data, data lake and Data warehouse is a plus. Experience with any reporting tool like QlikView, Cognos is a plus. Assist in the development of the project plan for your team. Responsibilities Work with business users to obtain information requirements. Hands on Experience with Hadoop environment (including Hive, Impala, Sqoop, HBASE, etc). Mastery of various data modeling paradigms for both structured and unstructured data. Mastery of various data querying languages (such as SQL and HiveQL). Perform analysis on data sources to verify expected data content, relationships and quality. Evolve Business Intelligence solutions and data models to meet new and changing business requirements. Develop processes for capturing and maintaining metadata from all data warehousing components (from databases and big data repositories to data access tool catalogs). Proactively monitor data quality; provide direction and guidance in improving the data load process. Be proactive, motivated and flexible. Possess analytical skills and have the ability to support and manage multiple priorities. 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence area (specifically with structured and unstructured data analysis; solution design; metadata management). Strong analytical, conceptual and technical skills; facile ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Capable of developing a deep understanding of source data: its strengths, weaknesses and semantics. Experience with ETL tools (such as Informatica). Experience with scripting tools (including unix shell, Python, Ruby, PHP, etc). Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (including OLAP / Metadata Management / Reporting tools). Extensive client facing skills with the ability to lead customer / business user meetings (as appropriate). Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
