Junior Digital Designer

We’re looking for a talented Junior Digital Designer to join a vibrant, in‑house creative team at a global biopharmaceutical company. This is a 12‑month contract opportunity where you’ll work alongside senior designers, web developers, motion artists, writers, and account managers to create impactful multichannel materials for 30+ leading brands across 80+ countries. Junior Digital Designer (12-Month Contract) Hybrid in Mettawa, IL About the Team & Environment You’ll be part of a culturally diverse group of 90+ strategic and creative explorers in a modern, eco‑friendly campus in Mettawa, IL. What You’ll Do Design digital assets including websites, landing pages, infographics, banner ads, emails, user interfaces, and interactive PDFs. Create and update content‑heavy, interactive PowerPoint presentations (on Mac) with slide transitions, animations, video, and strong data visualization for iPad/tablet delivery. Partner with content experts to interpret complex clinical and scientific data, turning it into clear, engaging charts, graphs, and infographics. Apply UI/UX best practices while working within brand standards and FDA regulatory guidelines. Use Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to edit and enhance images/artwork for PowerPoint. Collaborate daily with creative managers, writers, video editors, and account managers in a fast‑paced environment. Perform photo/vector searches, apply client/editor annotations in Acrobat, and drive multiple projects to completion each week. Must‑Have Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related discipline + 2+ years of experience in a creative agency environment. Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) . Advanced skills in PowerPoint for designing large, interactive presentations with animations and data visualization. Solid understanding of website design, banner ads, and UI/UX best practices . Ability to comfortably interpret and visualize complex clinical/scientific data into charts and infographics. Experience working efficiently on multiple projects with tight turnaround times. Fluency in a Mac environment and awareness of current design trends. Strong portfolio showcasing dynamic PowerPoint work (transitions, animations, video, typography, data viz) plus other digital pieces like infographics, banner ads, emails, and interactive PDFs. Nice to Have Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
