Key facts Location: Campbell, California Engagement: Full-time Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Visa sponsorship: Available for qualified candidates What you’ll do Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure accurate financial reporting. Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making. Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring cash reserves and optimizing working capital. Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for business initiatives and projects. Conduct regular financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends. Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all tax regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, implementing strategies to enhance profitability. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive. Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing financial insights that inform business direction and growth opportunities. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite is a plus. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Nice to have Experience in the technology or software industry is advantageous. Familiarity with international accounting standards and experience in a multinational environment. Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis. Knowledge of tax planning strategies and compliance for various jurisdictions. Skills & tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting tools. Experience with data visualization software to present financial data effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Practical notes This position is based in Campbell, California, and may require occasional travel for meetings or conferences.
