Job Summary : The Assistant Manager of Lift Maintenance provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all mechanical and electrical aspects of aerial lifts, surface lifts, conveyors, and related equipment at both Attitash and Wildcat.This role ensures that lifts operate safely, reliably, and in full compliance with ANSI B77.1 standards, OSHA, and all manufacturer and company policies. This leader manages both mechanical and electrical lift teams, driving operational excellence, safety culture, preventive maintenance, workforce development, and long- range asset planning. The position supports innovation, continuous improvement, and alignment with enterprise standards and resort operating goals.

Working Conditions Mountain outdoor environment with variable weather; requires climbing, accessing lift towers, machinery rooms, and moving equipment. May operate snowmobiles, UTVs, and specialized vehicles. Requires availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak periods.
Job Requirements: 3-8 years of mechanical and/or electrical lift maintenance experience. Expert knowledge of aerial lifts (detachable and fixed-grip), surface lifts, conveyors, and electrical systems. Strong working knowledge of ANSI B77.1, OSHA, EPA, and applicable state regulations. Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and team-development skills. Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems and Microsoft Office. Valid U.S. driver's license. Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds and work in demanding mountain environments. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Preferred 5+ years of electrical lift experience, including programmable logic controllers (PLC), variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control systems. 3+ years in a supervisory or management role. Experience in alpine resort maintenance leadership. Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability.
The expected pay range is $63,431.73 - $85,359.15. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
