Business Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. This role manages diverse financial, resource-related, and administrative functions for a very large, complex business unit. The ideal candidate will be primarily working on non-personnel expense forecasting, contract management, and governance processes. This position requires a thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area and working knowledge of general company policies, programs, and procedures. Responsibilities:

- Manage financial control/budgeting and consolidation, contract management and governance, personnel processes, and audit/compliance
- Coordinate projects, process improvement, and communication
- Consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates
- Handle non-personnel expense forecasting and contract management
- 7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills, including the ability to make effective presentations
- Must be analytical, organized and have the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely organized/excellent time management skills
- Advanced/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Prior experience handling multiple facets of an end-to-end business
