What You'll Do

• Perform ICU rounding and patient management post-cardiac surgery
• Manage patients coming off ventilators and recovering from open heart, VATS, and lung cases
• Assist in pre- and post-operative care of cardiac surgery patients
• Support the surgical team during open heart and thoracic procedures
• Participate in patient assessments and ensure smooth recovery processes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas
• Prior ICU, cardiothoracic surgery, or OR experience
• Ability to manage ventilated patients and assist in complex surgeries

Preferred:

• Experience with vein harvesting and VATS procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
