• Shift: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (last-minute coverage for 7/10 and 7/11)
• Duration: Short-term, last-minute assignment
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Per diem / Contract
• Licensure/Certs: Physician Assistant license (Texas preferred)
• Experience: ICU rounding, post-cardiac surgery, OR experience with vein harvesting strongly preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Rounding in ICU, pre- and post-cardiac surgery units
• Managing patients coming off ventilators and recovering from open-heart, VATS, and lung surgeries
• Assisting with open-heart, VATS, and lung procedures
• Supporting patient care during complex cardiovascular surgeries
• Collaborating with surgical, ICU, and anesthesia teams
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans accordingly

What You Need:

• Current Physician Assistant license (Texas preferred)
• ICU or cardiac surgery experience required; OR experience with vein harvesting strongly preferred
• Ability to work 7a-7p shifts on short notice
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
