What You’ll Do:

• Assist in rounding in ICU, including post-cardiac surgery care
• Manage patients coming off ventilators and from the operating room with open hearts, VATS, and lung cases
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress
• Assist with vein harvesting procedures (preferred)
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
• Document clinical findings and coordinate care plans effectively

What You Need:

• Current Physician Assistant license in Texas
• Prior ICU and cardiac surgical experience required
• Experience with ventilator management and post-operative patient care preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 7a-7p shifts on short notice
