What You’ll Do

• Provide care for patients in ICU following cardiac surgeries, including post-op management of patients on ventilators
• Assist with rounding, preoperative and postoperative care of cardiac surgery patients
• Manage patients emerging from OR with open hearts, VATS, and lung procedures
• Collaborate with medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care and monitor vital signs
• Support vascular procedures, including vein harvesting (preferred experience)
• Manage approximately 10-15 patients at a time in a critical care setting

What You Need

• Active Physician Assistant license in Texas
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred
• ICU experience required; OR experience with vein harvesting strongly preferred
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
