What You’ll Do

• Perform scheduled colonoscopies in a busy GI lab setting
• Manage inpatient GI consults with hospitalist team
• Work alongside NPs and PAs to support pre- and post-procedure workups
• Follow scheduled procedures and ensure high-quality patient care
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment in a fast-paced hospital setting

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Texas medical license or eligible for licensure
• Prior experience with colonoscopies and outpatient GI procedures
• Strong clinical skills in Gastroenterology

Preferred:

• Experience working in hospital environments
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, multi-provider practice

About the Assignment

This short-term locum will provide essential coverage for a busy GI service line in Tyler. The team is expanding with upcoming providers to meet increased endoscopy demands. Your support will ensure seamless patient care during provider vacations, CME, or scheduling conflicts, working closely with hospitalists and midlevel providers to handle inpatient and outpatient GI needs.
