• Experience: At least 2 years of GI practice preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Perform colonoscopies on scheduled weekdays
• Conduct inpatient consults for GI lab patients
• Manage complex GI cases in collaboration with mid-level providers
• Follow scheduled procedures and document patient care
• Assist with emergent GI lab services as needed
• Support inpatient hospitalist services during coverage gaps

What You Need:

• Valid Texas medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in GI procedures
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:

This short-term locum position provides essential coverage for a busy GI service line, ensuring continuity of care as permanent providers are recruited and while fulfilling departmental demands. The role involves performing colonoscopies and inpatient GI consults in a high-volume hospital setting.
