What You’ll Do

• Perform scheduled colonoscopies with a Monday – Friday schedule
• Conduct inpatient GI consults from the hospital on-call service
• Assist with pre- and post-operative patient workups in the GI clinic
• Participate in GI lab procedures in the hospital suite
• Collaborate with NPs, PAs, and other healthcare providers to ensure patient care continuity
• Support inpatient and outpatient GI services amidst increasing demand in the hospital

What You Need

• Valid Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
• Experience performing colonoscopies and managing complex GI patients
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to follow established protocols and prioritize patient safety
