Practice Environment
This hospital-based practice supports a team of 3-4 GI physicians and 3 midlevel providers (2 NPs, 1 PA-C). The facility offers a GI suite for procedures and utilizes an electronic medical record system. The hospitalist service provides inpatient support, enabling a collaborative environment focused on efficient patient care and procedural volume.

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday to Friday
• Colonoscopies and inpatient consults scheduled daily
• No weekends or holidays involved
• Support from hospitalist team for inpatient care

Clinical Scope

• Perform scheduled colonoscopies on a Monday-Friday schedule
• Conduct inpatient GI consults from the previous night’s cases
• Follow-up in the GI suite on scheduled procedures
• Manage complex GI patients alongside a team of physicians and midlevel providers
• Support inpatient care in an acute hospital environment

Requirements

• Active MD license in Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• DEA Registration
