A Day in the Life of a Warehouse AssociateAs a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your day will involve receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials with precision and care. You'll operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move items efficiently, while also performing inventory management tasks to ensure stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.You'll be responsible for picking and packing orders to meet customer specifications, maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, and supporting other general duties as needed. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to collaborate effectively with your team are key to success in this role. If you're a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making an impact, this position is for you.Responsibilities:Support daily operations with equipment, consumables, and logistics managementOversee warehouse inventory, including monthly consumables and annual asset countsFulfill outbound orders for branches, jobsites, and Area Wide Events (AWE)Maintain warehouse safety, organization, and equipment standards using Lean 5S practicesManage readiness of large loss fleet trailers and laydown yards during AWEsAddress maintenance and operational issues of restoration equipmentReceive, inspect, track, and accurately store inbound inventoryAssemble, label, and ship orders efficiently to job locationsConduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and prepare receiving reportsIdentify and resolve warehouse equipment, inventory, or organizational issuesExperience & Education:2 years in warehouse operations and distributionCertification in operating power-truck equipmentHigh school diploma or GED requiredFirst Onsite provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
