• Obtains insurance information, referral forms, and counsels patients on financial assistance over the phone.
• Schedules and registers patients over the phone or by email, with no patient contact.
• Obtains insurance information from patients and counsels on alternative ways for financial assistance.
• Communicates with physicians and clinical staff to assist with scheduling urgent or referred patient scheduling calls/requests.
• Reviews schedule for new patients, updating when necessary.
• Calls patients with appointment time reminders, obtains insurance information, and referral forms.
• Process the internal physician referral for clinical care.

Qualifications

• Patient Services experience
• Healthcare call center experience (1-2 years)
• Comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls
• Scheduling experience is preferred but not required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
