Sanitation Clerk

The Sanitation Clerk will be responsible for assisting sanitation leadership in their day-to-day tasks of collecting and preparing administrative needs. Reporting/posting results.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Generate attendance reports for all departments.
• Review E-Time Punches for Accuracy and correct all issues
• Run and manage multiple daily and weekly reports
• Post sanitation results daily.
• Help manage Team Member schedules and job assignments.
• Make sure JSA's are up to date and organized.
• Review daily the health services incident reports.
• Prepare meeting notes for the supervisors monthly meeting with the team members.
• Record minutes from the daily staff meeting.
• Create spreadsheets and graphs from Data compilation
• Keep Action Registers updated and organized.
• Work with the trainers on organizing/scheduling the training reports on all the new hires.
• Track equipment usage coming out of PPE, what has been charged, what needed replaced. Build report and send it out to the group.

• Assist with translating documents from English to Spanish and Spanish to English
• Other various tasks and projects as may be assigned as needed.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED is required. Experience in food manufacturing and/or sanitation desired.

Skills

Communication Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think, communicate in a fast-paced high-volume environment. Must be able to effectively communicate with maintenance, production, sanitation, support groups, and management personnel.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as procedure manuals. Must be able to read, write and speak English/Spanish proficiently. Will be required to translate conversations and documents between English and Spanish or Spanish and English.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical, diagram, written and/or verbal form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Other Skills And Abilities: Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and the ability to learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available. Must be proficient in Microsoft excel, word, outlook and internet explorer. Experience using AI tools a plus.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, taste, and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vison, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Individual must be able to effectively work in a normal production environment where temperatures and noise levels may vary. Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

The work environment includes normal office environment and will be required to go on the production floor as necessary. The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet.

Work Schedule

The hours and days of work are established as needed by Sanitation and at the discretion of management and may be changed (increased or decreased) by management as required.
